Coastal Solutions Overview

The coastal solutions of Bangladesh aim to create a more effective alert system for the coastal population of Bangladesh, as well as an education program so that the communities know what to do in a disaster.  The various emergency action programs currently in place will be built off of to create a more effective way of alerting the public when there is an impending disaster.  Local refugee shelters will be expanded so that there is a large enough capacity to hold future generations.  Education programs will provide the Bangladesh coastal communities with knowledge on future effects of climate change, where to go and what to expect during a natural disaster, and issues dealing with the saltwater intrusion into the groundwater.
